Who?
JCT's Program for Excellence is geared towards students who want to realize their maximum potential, by adding extracurricular research activities to their regular schedules.
The Program is intended for students who excel in their standard courseload, and will strive to preform excellent research in the framework of the Program. Acceptance into the Program is based on a number of criteria, including at least a 90% average in both Judaic and secular studies. Once in the Program, an 85% average must be maintained.
What?
The Program requires at least 8 hours from the students per week. (Please note that this in itself might be reason enough for excellent students to opt out of the Program.)
The type of work/research expected includes: technical (i.e., non-gopher) assistance to a faculty member–whether from academic or Judaic studies, independent study, and additional course work–limited and in context of other research.

How?
Please see the procedures regarding how to apply, and the basic protocol of the Program.
Why?
